IMG 6844 IMG 6845  This photo was taken from across the Rio Grande just south of Lost Trail. In the distance one can see Pole Mountain.  This camping spot was used often by the Wetherill family as well as others.  It took 2 days to go from Silverton to Hermit and usually the family camped at this spot for the night and continued on to Hermit or Claytonss home the next day. 2T0A8566  Top of Stony pass looking east Iin the far distance one can see the Rio grande Pyramid.
